Genre: Comedy
Project details
The Heist was made in a team of 5 during my junior year at DigiPen (Singapore).
The film was made using Unity's cinematic tools, later post-processed in Davinci Resolve.
What I brought to the team

I helped with the scene design and white boxing of the environment based on the film's storyboard - allowing the team to work on the previs as soon as possible. This included finding and adjusting online assets and making my own where necessary.

I also worked on the post-production, cutting together the final render in Davinci Resolve (including audio).

Contributions:
Whiteboxing/Scene Design (Unity)
Post-Processing (Video editing, audio)
White Boxing
To get our team started on the previs as soon as possible, I worked on whiteboxing the scene - giving an idea of space and camera shots, and translating our 2d storyboards into 3d space.

This would help us know early if any adjustments needed to be made, what shots worked and what didn't. Doing so allowed us to know what models were needed as well, before committing to sourcing or modelling any assets. It also allowed our lighting designer to get a head start on the general mood of the film.

Once done, I worked on sourcing and modelling the 3d assets, replacing them to give the final version of the scene.
Museum Atrium (Final)
Whiteboxing was done using Unity's probuilder tools, along with cameras that made use of Unity's cinemachine
This included:
Whiteboxing
Sourcing and Modelling 3D assets
Scene decoration/Replacing placeholders
Video Editing
I was responsible for the post-production of the film - which included video editing and some audio (using audio sourced by the other members of the team)
This was all done in Davinci Resolve.
